Check if there are driver related issues with your microphone

The sensitivity can be relative to the driver-related issues of your microphone as well. Here are some of the ways to check through.

  • Press the Windows Key and right from there, select R. It should go like Windows Key + R.
  • A dialogue box will open and right from there; you will have to type MSC.
  • From the dropdown or the list of options, you need to search and look out for the sound, video and gaming controllers that can help you accordingly.
  • Find your microphone. Right-click on it and then go to the driver of the device.
  • If you cannot find the microphone, you need to go to the unknown device option. Right from there, look out for the list of devices that are connected right through your system.
  • A wizard will open and it will ask you to install it automatically or manually. If you already have the driver installed, then you need to click on manual and if you don't, then automatic is the option.

Once you are done with these ways of checking out the sensitivity levels of the microphone, then you can call in for a friend and give it a proper try.
